ROUND BRIGHT-CUT DIAMOND SOLITAIRE PETITE GOLD RING
Our Gertrud Princess Solitaire Ring honors Gertrud Arndt, one of the female designers of the German Bauhaus design movement. Simple, minimalistic in design, this ring is hand carved and cast in recycled or Fairmined gold and set with a .25ct round white reclaimed diamond. Comfortable fit with a brushed finish.
Gertrud Arndt, was a gifted young female German designer who had her heart set on studying Architecture at the Bauhaus School of Design. Arndt along with other female students were relegated to study “feminine” subjects such as weaving or ceramics. Arndt became an expert in color theory and textile techniques.
